Overview

Our country continues to struggle with obesity issues and college students fear the freshman fifteen.  We propose the implementation of the STEPS program, Steps Towards Every Person Stronger, at the University of Arizona and colleges across the nation. This program provides a fun and healthy competition amongst University students that will promote a healthy and active lifestyle by tracking the number of steps a student takes. Each student that reaches their final goal will be awarded points for their college, and the winning university will earn funding for the improvement of health services at their university
