Please help us “spread the word” about our upcoming high school cybersecurity summer camps!
GenCyber camps are open to all student and teacher participants at no cost. Funding is provided jointly by the National Security Agency and the National Science Foundation.
The camps provide summer cybersecurity camp experiences for students and teachers at the high school level. The goals of the program are to help all students understand correct and safe on-line behavior, increase diversity and interest in cybersecurity and careers in the cybersecurity workforce of the Nation, and improve teaching methods for delivering cybersecurity content in computer science curricula.
During camps, students will explore the world of cybersecurity, build a mobile application, and learned how social media impacts the world around them.
There are three (3) camps this summer. The dates and locations are
- June 26-30, 2017 at the University of Arizona, Tucson AZ
- July 10-14, 2017 at Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff, AZ
- July 24-28, 2017 at University of Arizona, South, Sierra Vista, AZ
