Wendy Wienhoff - MIS Career Coordinator

Wendy is responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive system of career services, which incorporates both pre-and-post employment aspects for our students.
She works with both MIS undergraduate and graduate students and she manages corporate recruiting relationships including existing corporate partnerships, alumni, faculty, and other advocates.
Wendy's student interaction includes coaching students through:
- Resume and cover letter reviews
- Career path advice
- Interview preparation
- Negotiation skills and closing

- Working with companies to fill their internship and full-time opportunities
- Communicating job and internship opportunities to students
- Assisting companies with campus visits and interviews

Wendy joined the department in March 2014. Prior to joining the MIS department she was the Director of Career Services for a local Tucson college. In this role she helped students and graduates leverage their newly gained skills to transition into their field of studies including IT, Electronics, Drafting and Design, Business and Criminal Justice.
Wendy has lived in Tucson for over 18 years, loves the area and is an avid supporter of the Wildcats.
