Often under time pressure, students will skip out on a meal on the assumption that all restaurants located on campus on that time will be packed at that given time. Skipping a meal will not only slow your body down physically but mentally as well, disabling you from applying a hundred percent concentration to the task at hand, possibly leading to a lower grade. Grades are critical to success in college and students should be able to find a way to satisfy their hunger quickly and efficiently, allowing them to perform at their highest ability. The solution that our team came up with was the idea of LineMate, a mobile app that allows students to see real time, the amount of people in line at any given restaurant on campus at any time. With the power of LineMate, students will be best able to work their eating times around their heavy work schedule. The average college student has a lot on their plate, so we feel that this gives them one less thing to worry about.
