iFoundit is an app that operates as the University’s new Lost and Found. A person finds a lost item, they post the app page a brieg description of the item. The person that lot the item finds the matching description of their lost item and sends the finder details. They meet up and swap the item. There is incentive for both the university and finder to use the app. The finder will receive a certain number of points through the app based on their participation, and can then dereem the points for a prize. This ill be in form of money offered at te bookstore. The value proposition for the university includes the elimination of Lost and Found employees and the university’s surplus space. This would reduce the instances of rekeying and save the university the money spent on that. Throught the university this app will be free to students.
