The app/ website Piazza is a discussion based program used by college students to interact with other classmates and/or professors about class content. Piazza is completely free for instructors to create a class and for students to join. With piazza, students can get quick responses regarding class content they may be confused on, or any question they have regarding coursework outside of the classroom. Students who are more uncomfortable speaking up in class have the option to post questions anonymously. Teachers can also use this site as a communication forum where students can find classroom assignments. Piazza adds a security component by allowing instructors to remove random students or students acting inappropriately/ abusing the site. This technological innovation helps hundreds of thousands of students learn on-the-go through its easy accessibility online or on its mobile app.
