Voki, our application, is a website that provides the user with a new, innovative mode of presenting and learning information. Intended to promote creativity and an interactive educational experience, Voki allows the user to create and customize a vast variety of avatars, and then program them to say whatever they wish. At the University of Arizona, maintaining an interactive and fruitful learning environment both inside and outside of the classroom is integral to the Wildcat way. Voki has the potential to make the U of A experience personal and reflective for both students and instructors. Students will now be able to learn American history from an avatar of Abraham Lincoln, classical literature from Don Quixote, philosophy from Plato, and even create and submit their own avatars for assignments. With Voki, there are endless possibilities for the unique learning experiences that define our university.
