MIS Undergraduate Awards
The MIS Department is pleased to announce undergraduate student award winners:
Outstanding SeniorThe University of Arizona Foundation’s Outstanding Senior Awards program was established in 1971 to recognize the outstanding performances of the University's best seniors.
Every fall and spring semester, the academic departments within the Eller College nominate one graduating senior from their major to compete for this award.
The Ellerman Awards were established in honor of Mr. Brian Ellerman a MIS alumni and strong supporter of the MIS department. They were established in recognition of his leadership, service and academic interests in the department.
The Ellerman Award for Academic Achievement is awarded to graduating seniors in MIS and OM that have demonstrated academic excellence in their MIS studies.
The Ellerman Award for Leadership and Service is awarded to graduating seniors in MIS and OM that have made significant contributions to the MIS Department through their work in MIS/OM student organizations and departmental programs.
Eller Centurion Senior Honorary (formally Eller 100)
The mission of the Eller Centurion Honorary is to recognize top graduates who are committed to supporting the college into their future and serving as the alumni champions of their class. Eller Centurion students have exceled, not only in the areas of academics, but also in the areas of leadership and service. These students have been highly involved in Eller, the U of A, and Tucson community.
