UA MS MIS Program in Collaboration with City University of Hong Kong.

The University of Arizona's (UA) MIS Department offers a global track of its MS MIS program in collaboration with the City University of Hong Kong. Learn more by following a link or scrolling down for all information:

Overview

The UA MIS department is nationally-ranked (7th by U.S. News & World Report), housing a world-class faculty and high-impact funded research projects. In collaboration with the City University of Hong Kong (CityU), a major research university with one of the best-known Information Systems programs in Asia, the UA MIS department will offer this global track of its Master's in MIS program, aiming at serving students who want to pursue a career in financial IT services.

Given the MIS department’s world-wide reputation in research and the CityU IS department’s existing program success in Hong Kong and mainland China, this global track will provide an exciting educational and professional experience for students motivated to tackle increasingly complex information system (IS) challenges and issues in the booming financial services sector.

Study Plan

The students entering this program will complete the requirements of the CityU M.Sc. in Business Information Systems (BIS - Stream A or BIS - Stream B) or Electronic Business and Knowledge Management first.

They will then enroll in the UA MS MIS program to complete the UA portion. Note that both the Fall semester CityU M.Sc. in BIS cohorts (including Stream A and Stream B) and CityU M.Sc. in EBKM cohorts as well as past CityU M.Sc. in BIS and EBKM graduates are encouraged to apply as well.
