Get Your Game On and join the MIS Department and MIS alumni Bob Gentile to find out more about the role of IT leadership.
Throughout the hour presentation Bob will share information about his career experiences, his current role responsibilities and impart “insider” details on industry trends and the jobs outlook.
After the presentation join Bob in the atrium for an informal reception!
Bob's career spans 25+ years and include many disciplines in the field of Information Technology Support, Products and Services. After graduating from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Business and MIS, Bob started with Motorola in Phoenix, Arizona as a Systems Programmer and Administrator. A position he held for five years.
Bob then joined Apple Inc. for five years as a Field Systems Engineer and eventually moved into a position of Account Executive calling on large enterprise customers. After Apple, Bob returned to Motorola and over the next 16 years progressed his career through multiple IT and business positions including IT Contracts Management, IT Business Startup Leadership, Enterprise Middleware Systems, Software Product Management and IT Infrastructure Management.

Currently Bob is the Vice President of Enterprise Applications for Qualcomm Inc. where he leads a global team of over 350 employees and 200 contractors supporting multiple business initiatives in multiple geographies.
